The Closest Food Choices:
- Fresh Thyme Farmer's Market Just 2 blocks down the street. This full-service grocery store has a great deli with salads, sandwiches, hot meals, pizza by-the-slice and many other offerings. There's also a full-service meat department and all the usual groceries. Their liquor store is on the parking lot side of the building.
- The Market at Malcolm Yards One block behind Fresh Thyme is a fantastic "food hall" restaurant. (Think indoor food trucks without the trucks.) many food vendors, fantastic pizza, amazing ice cream, a full bar and a wall of pay by the ounce beer and wine taps. A bit noisy with people of all ages having fun and great food.
- U Garden Chinese Just 3 blocks away. Friendly menu service or inexpensive self-service buffet. We eat here often!
- Caspian Bistro and Marketplace Just 4 blocks away. Persian food in a full-service restaurant plus a Mid-Eastern food market. Great food and friendly service! This has been a favorite with many of our guests and us too!

The St. Anthony Falls Heritage Trail: a self-guided 1.8 mile walking tour encompassing historic main street, Nicollet Island, the Hennepin Avenue Bridge, a portion of West River Parkway, the West Side Mills District, and the Stone Arch Bridge spanning the Mississippi River.
Hike or bike on the Saint Anthony Falls Heritage Trail and enter a place where the present brushes against the past. Signs provide stories and pictures about the area's past and information about recreational opportunities and attractions today. The trail connects nationally significant historic buildings, homes, and archaeological sites and stories, moving through a surprisingly abundant natural environment.
